  1. Canon BJ Printer Driver Version 1.07 for AutoCad R12

  3. To correct for the paper feed slippage apparent with the 3X0
  4. printers the printer driver may be calibrated.  Note that
  5. the paper motion is in the X direction (ie the Y direction
  6. should not need calibrating).  The slippage is dependent on the
  7. paper width (and type) so you may need to set up several copies
  8. of the driver for different widths.
  9.         
  10. After calibration you will still see slight jaggies where the
  11. print head bands overlap, but the overall length will be 
  12. better.

  14. The instructions on page 43 & 44 of the Installation manual may
  15. be used to calibrate the plotter, but you will have to re-
  16. answer the plotter specific questions (including the 
  17. plotter model) first to get to the "generic" questions 
  18. that allow you to enter the calibration factors (simply 
  19. use the defaults for the plotter questions).

  21. The installation manual says that the calibration may be
  22. cancelled by entering the same plotter name after saying that
  23. you want to choose a new one, note that this is also within
  24. the Change Plotter sub-menu.

  26. Show Device Requirements will say "calibrated" on the
  27. line which displays the resolution if this has been done.
